Files and spaces
A space organizes related tasks. A local working directory is where files are actually stored and processed.
Organize by what you are working on
Create spaces for writing, research, or personal projects, and keep related tasks together. Select a suitable working directory when a task needs local files.
A space is not a file permission, and it does not mean files have been uploaded to a cloud service. Access still depends on the task context and permissions you grant.
Prepare the right material
Keep the files needed for a task in a clearly defined directory. Avoid using your entire personal directory as a working area, and leave out unrelated credentials or sensitive material.
Name source paths and output locations clearly. For example:
Use the notes in the Research folder and save an outline in Drafts.
Save and review
Lexora can use tools to write files and show artifacts in the workspace. Check their actual location, content, and format before publishing or sharing.
Keep backups of important originals. Space organization does not replace backups or promise cross-device sync.
